Connie MacDermott - MentorConnie MacDermott has 25 years experience in the hospitality industry having worked in the UK and Ireland for both large multi-national hotel groups and family run hotels, ranging in size from 70 to 640 rooms. Connie held senior positions including 13 years in General management. Additionally, she has been involved in new openings, takeovers and rebrandings.
Connie has a great understanding of quality systems, having trained as an internal auditor for ISO 9001/9002 with BVQI and has co-ordinated both Service Excellence and Best Practice to certification.
Connie has a Diploma in Personal and Business Coaching with an additional certificate in career coaching. She is certified in training from the NUIG Galway and in Human Resource management from DIT Dublin.
Her areas of expertise include quality, implementation of systems and procedures combined with employee and management development. She gets immense satisfaction helping teams to manage change and is a firm believer that our teams are the greatest assets to any business and with the right support and guidance, we create great future leaders. |
