Otmar Wullich

Otmar Wullich - Trainer

Otmar Wullich has over 30 year experience in the hospitality, tourism and supplier industry.  He has had a classic hospitality career, having studied restaurant & hotel management in his native Germany for 5 years.

He has worked in the 3-5 Star hotel market and restaurants from family owned to Michelin star restaurants, working in five different countries, in owner managed and multinational organisations around Europe. During this time, Otmar has held a number of senior positions, including F&B Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Purchasing & Control and General Manager, working for Hilton International, Dorint Hotel and Resorts and The Savoy Group.   In Ireland Otmar held senior management positions with The K Club, O'Connell's Restaurant Ballsbridge, Bewley's Cafe's and Fitzpatrick Hotel Group as well as joining Cuisine de France as a project consultant.

Otmar's passion for the hospitality industry and his hands-on approach, allows him to tackle a problem at grass roots level, thereby implementing sustainable and cost effective results.

His areas of expertise include F&B restaurant management, service skills, implementation of systems and procedures, standards of performance, identifying areas for improvement, purchasing and cost control mechanisms etc.

Otmar is a Mentor and Advisor for Specialist Skills with Failte Ireland.  He also works as a facilitator with a restaurant and kitchen management school where he lectures on Operational Management.
